New water, sewer and street improvement districts
Three separate utility and street projects — serving the Grant 2nd Addition and Hope Lutheran Addition, plus a sewer force main connection with Mapleton — were up for bid acceptance and contract award. These are the backbone utilities for new development.
2027 Utility Rates
The proposed 2027 utility rates were presented for information only — no decisions yet, but rate changes could be coming next year.
Grant 2nd Addition Water, Sewer and Street Improvements
The city accepted a petition and created a new improvement district to bring water, sewer and streets to Grant 2nd Addition. Property owners in the district will ultimately pay assessments.
Water Purchase Agreement with Cass Rural Water Users District
The city signed on to buy water from Cass Rural Water Users District, locking in a supply source for West Fargo's future needs.
